1^st – 4^th Grades

How does music move? Using rhythm and meter as our guides, we’ll explore how music can demonstrate, express and encourage movement. We’ll hear how composers depict mechanical movement, as well as movement in nature. We’ll feel how dances of different cultures can make us move in different ways. Students will listen, conduct, sing and dance in this interactive program featuring a diverse selection of music that makes us move!
