For 5^th – 8^th grades  

Celebrate musical traditions from around the world with the BPO in this exciting program that combines music, world cultures, and the immigrant experience. Music from America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America combine with immigration stories to explore musical language, musical forms, rhythms, and melodies from different cultures. Along our journey, students will hear personal accounts from those who have traveled from afar to make Western New York their home.

This program aligns with New York State Next Generation Learning Standards for ELA and Literacy and NYS Social Studies Standards.
